What’s been your career path at Prudential?
In June 2018, I started full-time at Prudential. I was recruited through the Early Talent Recruitment Program.
How do you describe your role?
I assist clients with questions and transactions regarding their life insurance policies. I work with both clients and agents within the field. I mainly work with clients within the U.S. but have worked alongside some global clients as well.
What are some key projects that you've worked on that excite or have excited you most?
We went through a pilot procedure to help clients who had a discrepancy with agents – it was a test and learn to figure out the best way to help clients in similar situations.
What is it like to work at Prudential?
It’s a fast paced and challenging environment. You feel supported in everything you do. It makes you stretch outside of the barriers or goals that you've set for yourself.
What are you passionate about as it relates to your work?
The main thing is that I'm helping our clients and knowing that I've made a difference in helping them. I help develop solutions for clients who might face financial difficulties, which is very rewarding.
What excites you most about Prudential?
It’s a constantly changing environment with opportunities for growth and advancement.
Any advice you may have for entry level talent?
First, choose a company that aligns directly with your own values. Second, choose a company that has a breadth of opportunities.
What keeps you at Prudential?
The people that I work with, from mentors to managers. The support and opportunities I have available to me. There is always an on-going process for learning, both internally and externally.
How would you describe Prudential culture in one word?
What do you like to do in your free time outside of work?
I like to spend time outside when I can. I love to travel to Florida and California. I like to go to concerts and hang out with my Shiba Inu, Luna.
