What’s been your career path?

In July 2010, I started as an Intern in the Life Insurance Finance Group. In July 2011, I joined the Finance Leadership Development Program (FLDP), which is comprised of three rotations through Financial Systems Analytics, Accounting/Controllership for Prudential Investments and Planning & Analysis of stable value products within Prudential Retirement. In Summer 2014, I joined Prudential full-time in Planning & Analysis. Since then, I've been promoted to a Manager of Business and Finance for the Full Service Solutions Business within Prudential Retirement.

How do you describe your role?

I support the full service solutions business in assessing and developing strategic financial goals in order to realize growth opportunities.

What is it like to work at Prudential?

Prudential is a great group of people who are incredibly intelligent and who take the time to make sure you are constantly learning and developing.

What are you passionate about as it relates to your work?

I love knowing that we're in the business of helping people. We really do live by our purpose statement which is: "We make lives better by solving the financial challenges of our changing world."

What excites you most about Prudential?

I'm excited that we're embarking on a period of change. We are on a path to becoming better, bolder and faster and not being satisfied with how things were done in the past.

Any advice for entry level talent?

My advice is to look for a company that has people who will bring out the best in you. Only you know what will motivate, inspire and interest you and the best fit is out there.  You'll need to uncover this by getting to know the employees and how the work is done within the company.

What keeps you at Prudential?

We're a large company with so many opportunities which allows you to keep doing something different, learning and having an impact.

How would you describe Prudential culture in one word?

Continuous Learning.

What do you like to do in your free time outside of work?

I like to spend time with my family and enjoy being outside with my two-year-old daughter. I also enjoy cooking with my husband, especially Italian food.
