About the position
EMPLOYER: The Prudential Insurance Company of America
DUTIES: Member of the ALM Strategy and Analytics team under Chief Investment Officer. Prepare models, review specifications, and analyze option costs for annuity business including variable annuity and fixed indexed annuity in the dynamic capital market environment. Perform asset liability management related to the hedged liability, capital projections, liquidity stressed testing, hedging strategy analysis and refinement of an enterprise-wide capital framework. Responsible for annual economic assumptions development and implementation processes. Perform and analyze risk neutral and real-world valuations for variable annuity from multiple perspectives, fine tune liability attribution analysis, and collaborate with various business functions to support finanical reporting, profitability management, risk management as well as new business initiatives. REQTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Economics, Mathematics, or a related field plus two (2) years of experience in the position offered or as a Senior Actuarial Associate, or a related position. Must have two (2) years of financial modeling experience with all of the following: Variable Annuity product knowledge; capital market hedging knowledge; valuation and reporting frameworks under Statutory, GAAP and economic views; Real world and Risk Neutral economic scenario generation; financial derivatives modeling; asset liability management methodologies; Excel VBA; MatLab; and insurance assumptions.
HOURS: Full time; Mon- Fri (37.5 hrs/week)
