About the position

The Actuarial & Finance Technology (AFT) group is a part of the Corporate IT organization. AFT provides business and technical support across a broad range of actuarial and financial systems for the Enterprise. An opportunity exists for an energetic and motivated Mid to Senior Level Developer to join an Agile team responsible for the full software development lifecycle of components of the distributed platform, including analysis, design, development, testing and support.

You will work closely with business partners (Financial Professionals, Actuarial, CFAs, etc.) to deliver solutions to meet business needs. You will also work collaboratively with a broader technology organization to ensure solutions meet high technical quality standards and follow software development best practices. You will be expected to lead technology discussions and help with design and architectural discussions.

The Agile Team’s current codebase/platforms are the following:

• SQL Server


Required Skills:
• Objected Oriented Programming Language – Examples: C#, Java, Python
• Web Programming Experience – HTML/CSS/JS
• Database experience – Examples: SQL Server, Oracle, Mongo DB

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
• 4-8 years of experience in a software development role
• Has worked in an AGILE environment
