About the position

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Implementation Manager to join our Retirement Client Transition team. We are looking for a dynamic, highly experienced individual to create outstanding first experiences for our new clients while leading the successful on-boarding of their Defined Contribution, Defined Benefit and/or Deferred Compensations plans to Prudential.

This is a client facing role and has the responsibility to ensure a strategic, holistic coordination of end-to-end service delivery, with projects being delivered on schedule, within budget, and meeting the desired financial and client outcomes.

The Sr. Implementation Managers work closely with the Client Transition management team along with our partners in Sales, Operations, Client Relationship, and many other teams within our organization. In addition to new business, the Sr Implementation Manager will support existing Prudential clients during merger & acquisition activity as well as the implementation of new product and service offerings. All of these activities will require a consultative approach to align the client and participant needs with Prudential’s product offering.

  • Can demonstrate strong technical expertise in areas of retirement plan design and system capabilities across all plan types
  • Ability to articulate the differentiators associated with transition process during sales finals situations to persuade clients to bring their business to Prudential
  • Has a passion for learning to facilitate continuous self, and team improvement
  • Possesses strong mentorship skills to direct and motivate individuals to encourage high standards of performance without formal authority
  • Fosters and actively contributes to a positive team working environment
  • Is a highly-motivated, self-starting person who takes pride in the quality outcome of their work

Minimum Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in any field of academic rigor

  • Possession, or prior possession of FINRA Series 6 or 7 highly preferred

  • Some travel, up to 25% is required


  • 7+ years of retirement plan expertise in Defined Contribution (including governmental and Taft Hartley), Defined Benefit and/or Non-Qualified plans.

  • Experience in managing relationships or on-boarding clients with retirement plan assets in excess of $100 Million
