What’s been your career path at Prudential?
I started at Prudential in June 2015 as an intern in the User Experience Group. From Fall 2015 to June 2016, I worked on the Office 365 rollout for the company and ways to make it more user friendly from a functionality standpoint. In June 2016, I joined Prudential full-time and I’m currently working on chatbot technology for internal employee use.
How do you describe your role?
Today, it's much more chatbot oriented. Making sure we have the right resources with the right security and compliance measures is what I do today. The work I do on a daily basis, as it relates to virtual assistance, will have a major impact on the way our employees do work going forward. I feel like I'm helping lay the groundwork for the future employee experience.
What is it like to work at Prudential?
For me, supportive because the second I got here my boss took me under his wing. He explained what the difference is between college and the working world. Supportive is definitely what comes to mind.
Any advice you may have for entry level talent?
You might look at the company or the culture, but having people that support you in your work and life is most important. Everything else is secondary.

The people and the culture.
How would you describe Prudential culture in one word?
What's one thing you love about working in Newark?
I've lived in Newark from college all the way through to today. I've seen Halsey Street transform right before my eyes. You’d be surprised how many cool things there are to do in Newark.
What do you like to do in your free time outside of work?
I enjoy rock climbing and building cars in my spare time.
