Human Resources - Newark, NJ Business Analyst, Human Capital Management

About the position

The Talent Acquisition team is looking for an analyst to deliver integrated recruiting solutions in support of hiring for a Fortune 100, financial services firm.
The ideal candidate will possess a background in consulting with proven success in business solutions implementations, project management, and execution of change management strategies. Familiarity with Talent Management practices and processes a plus.
This position will report into the Vice President of Talent Acquisition Operations and be located in our Newark, NJ office.
Specific responsibilities include:
  • Leading cross-functional projects and initiatives for the Talent Acquisition organization in close partnership with the HR Technology group
  • Analyzing business needs and defining and implementing integrated solutions in a fast-paced environment; documenting business requirements, reporting needs and end to end processes
  • Staying current with advances in technology and platforms supporting Talent Acquisition and influencing innovative and leading solutions; conduct research and analysis regarding trends, patterns and issues to identify opportunities and solve problems
  • Partnering with Talent Acquisition leadership to fully maximize, enhance and leverage recruiting technologies

Qualifications

  • 3+ years professional experience managing large scale projects
  • Experience with Workday implementations and / or Workday administration a plus
  • Strong aptitude for proactive problem solving, analytics, process/project management, and controls
  • Experience in executing with agile methodology, test and learn approach a plus
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, well-developed analytic reasoning and curiosity
  • Desire to work in a team-based environment and partner effectively with all levels including senior management
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities in a fast-paced environment and communicate issues in a clear, succinct manner to project team members
  • Previous experience writing business requirements and test plans, as well as creating and reviewing functional specifications
  • Attention to detail, initiative, persistence, and personal ownership of assignments
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience
