We are looking for a highly motivated and creative marketing professional to support channel specific marketing initiatives. This position reports to the Channel Marketing Director responsible for selective major partnership opportunities. This position requires close collaboration with internal functional areas including Sales, National Accounts, Product Marketing, Digital Marketing, Design, and legal/compliance staff, in order to see initiatives through to completion.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Develop project plans and assist with the execution of firm-specific and home office campaigns, communications, events and digital assets (i.e. websites, email and social media platforms)
Support channel marketing activities in an effort to help drive sales activity (i.e. presentations, newsletters, custom content, etc.)
Establish and maintain relationships with Sales, National Accounts, and partner firms where applicable
Update the inventory of custom literature to ensure compliance requirements are met, data is current and messaging is relevant
Manage all aspects of marketing and firm review approval processes
Create and maintain a calendar of channel marketing activities
Conduct ongoing competitive research on topics key competitors are focused on and where they are being featured
- 3+ years in financial services and or/channel marketing preferred
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- General understanding of asset classes and investment products (i.e. mutual funds and ETFs)
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel
Ability to prioritize work effectively and handle multiple projects at any given time
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
FINRA Series 6 or 7 preferred but not required
