PGIM Private Capital (“PPC”) is the private capital investment arm of Prudential and one of the largest private debt investors in the world with nearly $87 billion in AUM across more than 1,000 companies globally (as of 6/30/19). PPC typically invests $10-13 billion annually in privately placed senior and mezzanine financings with middle-market companies.
PGIM Private Capital’s Commercial Asset Finance Team is seeking an Investment Analyst in its group located in Atlanta. The Investment Analyst role is a three-year assignment that offers candidates the chance to build their analytical skills and expand their knowledge of private capital investments and the broader capital markets. In this role, the Analyst supports PGIM Private Capital in managing and investing private placement senior secured investments in companies around the globe.
Working on a small dedicated team, Analyst responsibilities include industry analysis, financial modeling, comparable analysis, preparing discussion materials, portfolio monitoring (including direct interaction with senior management), marketing support and special projects. - Bachelor of science degree in Accounting, Finance, or a quantitative subject, with a strong record of academic achievement.
- Excellent analytical and accounting skills, including advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Strong understanding of capital markets, debt and equity security terms, and valuation methodologies
