The Customer Office (CO) at Prudential is a team that merges the entrepreneurial spirit of a start-up with the stability of one of the world's most established financial services companies to deliver best in class experiences to our customers.

We are looking for dynamic and resourceful Chief of Staff who takes initiative and thrives in a fast-paced, challenging working environment. In this position you will support Chief Marketing and Enterprise Growth Officer in the Chief of Staff capacity and help strategize and deliver organization’s goals and plans with discipline and attention to details. You will ensure that initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives.

You will be responsible for budget discipline, technology and marketing projects pipeline management. Ensure all business routines and processes are running efficiently and in support of the of the group’s desired outcomes.

You will collaborate closely with Customer Office leadership, partner with product management to provide relevant inputs and work closely with our sales and service functions to ensure our team is contributing to the success of Customer Office and Prudential overall.

Because this role will work with teams in multiple geographic sites, and entails careful business planning and resource scaling, economics based business thinking, and quick decision making the successful candidate will have a proven track record of supporting executives in financial industry.

Responsibilities include:

  • Strategic planning, enhancement and execution
  • Develop presentations, manage timelines, and coordinate inputs from inside and outside the organization to inform and influence decision making with senior leadership.
  • Directly support the Leader to ensure the effective prioritization and timely delivery for information, materials, deliverables and relationship management
  • Coordinate executive communications
  • Serve as primary deputy and liaison with the Senior Leadership Team and Partners from Business Units
  • Build strategic discipline and deployment mechanisms to monitor and ensure execution of priorities
  • Focus on budget and priority / capacity management
  • Foster understanding and alignment on strategic vision/initiatives across the broader Prudential system, reach multiple levels of the organizations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree; MBA preferred
  • Minimum 10 years corporate professional experience; strategy, consulting and/or project management experience desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to develop deep relationship with all levels of a large organization
  • Creative curiosity with the ability to recognize where change is needed and possessing the perseverance to serve as a change for the organization
  • Exceptional verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Significant experience presenting in small and large group (100+) settings
  • Impeccable organization and time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior-level employees
  • Ability to work with minimal direction and guide through influence
  • Familiarity with budgeting, planning and forecasting concepts
  • Strong leadership skills in building, motivating, and operating a diverse team
  • Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to go deep into the details as warranted – both a planner and a “doer”
