Human Resources - Newark, NJ Technical Security Specialist

About the position

Associate will report to and provide direct support to the Director, Security Technology Services and be responsible for executing protective technology services functions under management's direction in both the domestic and international environments.

Associate will identify security risks and assist in the design and implementation of security technology strategies and programs to protect, prevent and reduce loss and impact to organizational assets. Associate will assist in the physical security risk reviews of clients and vendor security programs.

Requires interface with executive management and decision making in a timely manner to a wide-range of unpredictable challenges. Associate will work to optimize current technologies and identify future-state systems to support Prudential’s Global Security Program


Associate must have experience in programming/installations of Intrusion, CCTV and Access Control Platforms.

Knowledge of Physical security assessments and practical experience in risk and threat assessment and the development of mitigating security controls in domestic and international environments.

Candidate should have a working knowledge of Office 365 products (Word, excel, power point).
