About the position
Prudential has a great career opportunity for a seasoned leader with a strong focus on talent. This position reports to the lead Human Resources Business Partner for the Chief Financial Organization (CFO). You will collaborative across Human Resources (HR) and partner with senior leaders to build strategies to attract, develop and engage talent.
As the lead of the Finance Learning & Development group, you will design, lead and deploy global learning and development programs to support the Chief Financial Office. In this role you will oversee the early and mid-career talent programs including summer internship, leadership development and MBA rotation programs. You will support the Global Finance Community including leading the global mobility program and global Finance training curriculum. This requires cultivating partnerships across HR and CFO to ensure the function is building capabilities to achieve business objectives.
In this role:
You will lead and set the strategic direction of the team including establishing objectives and measures of success aligned with the greater CFO talent strategy
You will partner with senior leaders to identify, develop and execute against learning strategies to drive business objectives
You will facilitate monthly steering committee meetings with CFO executive leadership
You will design and deploy programs to provide focused and accelerated development for top talent
You will plan and execute global conferences including the Finance Learning Exchange and Global CFO and Chief Actuary Conference
You will oversee the development and execution of the early and mid-career recruitment strategies and related undergraduate and graduate rotational programs
You will consistently evaluate the adequacy of existing training programs and build upon the curriculum inclusive of technical and soft skill training
You will oversee the development and execution of the Global Mobility Program

- 10+ years’ experience with a combination of people leadership and talent management

- Successful track record of problem solving and exercising sound judgment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to build business relationships, influence and effectively interact with all levels of the organization
- Knowledge of Finance organizations a significant plus
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree is a plus
