The Chief of Staff supports Prudential’s newly formed Diversity, Inclusion and Impact group. The effective candidate will be instrumental in supporting the Senior Vice President of Diversity, Inclusion and Impact with all responsibilities relating to the Board of Directors and Board committees, Executive Inclusion Council and Senior Leadership Team – and in establishing processes to ensure the success of Prudential’s ongoing Inclusion program.

Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Diversity, Inclusion and Impact, you will have the following responsibilities:
  • You will directly support and the Senior Vice President of Diversity, Inclusion & Impact to ensure the effective prioritization and timely delivery for information, materials, deliverables and relationship management
  • You will coordinate executive communications for the Senior Vice President of Diversity, Inclusion & Impact and will respond, when needed, on their behalf
  • You will serve as primary deputy and liaison for Board of Directors, Executive Inclusion Council and the Senior Leadership Team
  • You will support the Executive Director of the Prudential Foundation on all efforts related to the Corporate Social Responsibility Oversight Committee, including preparing materials and managing meeting logistics
  • You will develop ongoing relationships with other Chiefs of Staff to align priorities, initiatives, reporting, accountability and to gain buy-in from senior stakeholders in the business/corporate functions
  • You will ensure effective information flow, problem-solving and collaboration across the Diversity, Inclusion & Impact group to ensure stakeholders within the team are on the same page with respect to the group’s goals and drivers of successful results
  • You will lead and coordinate a wide range of administrative activities (e.g. goal setting, budgeting/forecasting, performance management, etc.) for the Diversity, Inclusion & Impact team
  • You will drive special projects, as needed


  • Bachelor's degree; MBA or other relevant Master's degree preferred

  • Minimum 10 years corporate professional experience; strategy, consulting and/or project management experience desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to develop deep relationship with all levels of a large organization
  • Creative curiosity with the ability to recognize where change is needed and possessing the perseverance to serve as a change for the organization
  • Exceptional verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Significant experience presenting in small and large group (100+) settings
  • Impeccable organization and time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior-level employees
  • Ability to work with minimal direction and guide through influence
  • Familiarity with budgeting, planning and forecasting concepts
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
