Risk Management - Shelton, CT Executive Assistant (Operational Risk Management)

About the position

The Annuities business, Operational Risk Management organization, part of Enterprise Risk Management, has a vacancy for an Executive Assistant. The position will report to the Chief Risk Officer for the Annuities business and will support an additional 2 VPs in our fast paced organization.
The position is located in Shelton, CT. This position will independently perform advance level administrative support duties. This position will be responsible for appropriate handling of sensitive and confidential information.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

•Managing calendar and meeting needs
•Ability to work independently and able to prioritize work
•Scheduling large and/or complex meetings that may include high-level executives, including handling logistics, accommodations, menus, breakout sessions, outside activities etc.
•Making travel and parking arrangements as needed along with the preparation of general and travel expense vouchers for executives
•Preparing/updating Microsoft Office suite documents including but not limited to PowerPoint presentations, Word documents and Excel worksheets
•Answering and screening telephone calls
•Organizing and maintaining files in accordance with records retention guidelines
•Procuring office supplies
•Providing support to executives for records management and business continuation
•Performing such other administrative services as may be deemed necessary or appropriate (e.g., back-up other assistants when out of office)
•Identifying administrative needs for the organization and initiating projects to support those needs
•Initiate and follow on procurement requests (ordering hardware/software, phone requests, on-boarding new hires/transfers, etc.)
•Process information security requests


5+ years administrative experience, preferably supporting executives

Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced and evolving environment

High degree of judgment and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

High level of motivation

High proficiency in the use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook.

Ability to work under tight time constraints

Understanding of Prudential's business and operations is preferred

Ability to work overtime when necessary
