Position Description:
There is an opportunity to join the team responsible for setting the prices that PGIM Fixed Income’s clients pay for our asset management services. The team currently handles over 300 pricing requests each year for our separate account and commingled fund clients invested across all the firm’s investment strategies.
This opportunity will support two primary projects initially. The first is a build out of an analytic framework which creates transparency into the firm’s current pricing structures as well as market pricing data and trends. The second project is a build out of a portfolio monitoring and trade construction tool to support PGIM Fixed Income’s trading desks in the management of Prudential’s proprietary General Account Portfolio.
As the initial project work concludes, the incumbent will transition into a pricing analyst role, possessing the skills required to operate successfully in the newly developed infrastructure.
The incumbent will work closely with the Information technology community within the firm as well as product development, Client Advisory and Portfolio Analysis teams. This position will be highly engaged in both tactical decisions making in the day to day pricing of new business, as well as market analysis which informs the strategic vision of the firm.


  • Three years of experience working in a business analyst role within an asset manager or a strategy role focused on the asset management sector.
  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, engineering or technology, with additional studies in economics preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of financial analytics and comfortable using database technologies such as Tableau to access data from internal databases.
  • Advance knowledge of excel and comfortable using SQL to access data.
  • Ability to use quantitative methods to create value added analysis
