TITLE: Senior Specialist, Systems Development

LOCATION: 555 East California Avenue, Sunnyvale, California 94086

DUTIES: Use technological concepts and procedures to design, modify, develop, write, and implement software applications. Utilize knowledge of end to end web development, responsive web design, and Service oriented architecture (SOA) to turn concepts into reality through using Agile framework. Work in an iterative/Agile environment and provide high quality code. Integrate multiple systems together, including mapping and transformation of data. Deliver end to end solutions through using innovative strategies, in order to address complex design problems. Analyze and enhance application performance with a focus on service/message throughout and latency. Conduct code reviews, which will enable system modifications and development. Continually build upon his knowledge of frameworks and applications through understanding new technological innovations and applying them to the backend of development. Utilize, Java, JNDI, JDBC, JMS, JPA, JAXB, JAX-RS, JAX-WS, REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, XSD, SQL, PL/SQL, OOD, SOA, Shell Scripting, Spring Framework, Tomcat, XHTML/HTML5, JSF, Ajax, PVCS, SVN, Eclipse, and RAD.

Qualifications

REQTS: Must have Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field plus six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in the position offered, Solutions Architect, Software Programmer, or a related position. Must have six (6) years of progressively responsible experience with all of the following: Java; JNDI; JDBC; JMS; JPA; JAXB; JAX-RS; JAX-WS; REST; SOAP; JSON; XML; XSD; SQL; PL/SQL; OOD; SOA; Shell Scripting; Spring Framework; Tomcat; XHTML/HTML5; JSF; Ajax; PVCS; SVN; Eclipse; and RAD.

HOURS: Full time; Mon- Fri (37.5 hours/week)
