Our Fixed Income Client Reporting Team is seeking a Client Reporting Analyst which is responsible for providing reports to our clients globally.

Our Client Reporting Team is a dynamic group that collaborates with all areas of PGIM; in turn creating a myriad of learning opportunities and a collaborative culture. Client Reporting spans all of our products and markets while we serve as an internal business partner to aid in processes and controls; as well as help improve our systems that deliver accuracy, efficiency, and the overall integrity to our business.  

This position is part of the Client Reporting Group which is responsible for designing, preparing and delivering reporting to PGIM Fixed Income’s Institutional, Retail, Affiliate, and Alternative clients globally. The group is responsible for the compilation and distribution of portfolio summary reports, portfolio holdings and transaction reports, fact sheets, board reports, as well as custom client reports. In addition to reporting the group supports the client portfolio review meeting process, client ad-hoc requests related to portfolio information, and client questionnaires. The team works closely with the Client Management, Sales & Marketing, Portfolio Management, Portfolio Analysis, Performance, Compliance, Operations and Technology groups. Responsibilities:

  • Review and deliver complex client reports, client due diligence questionnaires, and portfolio presentations, while ensuring that materials are accurate and deadlines are met.
  • Review peer and junior staff deliverables for accuracy
  • Training for peers and junior staff
  • Respond to ad hoc client inquires in a timely and efficient manner while working with internal groups to obtain required data when necessary
  • Review reporting and client communication process to identify opportunities to improve, streamline, and automate scheduled reporting
  • Handle multiple tasks while meeting strict client deadlines
  • Participate in and play a lead role within Client Reporting for projects
  • Identify and anticipate issues that may adversely affect the ability of the individual or team to meet reporting deadlines, and take action to reduce the risk of occurrences
  • Cultivate relationships with internal and external partners and service providers
  • Keep abreast of industry initiatives and market trends that impact the business

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in the financial services industry (preferably in fixed income asset management)
  • Asset management operations and/or reporting experience
  • Willingness and desire to learn and teach others
  • Customer focused with proven analytical skills in fast paced environment
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and level of comfort working with all levels of the organization
  • Knowledge of fixed income securities and financial markets
  • Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access), including the ability to write macros is a plus
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize deliverables in a deadline focused environment, and identify opportunities to improve current processes.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently Ability to take direction and offer solutions and improvements to current work process
  • Knowledge of Blackrock Solutions Aladdin System and/or Vermilion Reporting System a plus.
  • CFA designation, active status in the CFA program and/or MBA a plus
